An agent does not cost you anything. In fact, it is my intention to have a positive impact on your finances just as you should expect from any financial assistant. Keep in mind that many expenses incurred when you are ill are not covered by health insurance. These are the expenses of daily living like rent, utilities, eating, etc. I suggest affordable insurance to cover this.

Like many of you I am retired except that I have a passion for helping other seniors avoid being taken advantage of.

There are no other people.This website is just me. If you are not in Colorado or a state I am licensed in, I will help you understand your choices wherever you are. I just want to help. All those licenses permit me to help in those states.
Company
I am an independent broker, representing most of the insurance companies, and am affiliated with Health Choice One and Medicare Benefit Advisers. I owe no special loyalty to any one company. My loyalty is to getting my client (you) the best protection for the least premium.
Agent vs Broker
An agent can be an employee of an insurance company, an employee of an insurance agency, or an independent agent affiliated with one insurance agency. Any captive agent is dedicated to a limited line of insurance products. Is this what you want to buy?
In many cases the agent represents only a narrow range of products, usually from one company.
An independent broker represents several insurance companies and is often affiliated with a brokerage that provides logistical support.
My being a broker means that I represent all the significant insurance companies that are contracted with Medicare.
Personal
I spent my first 53 years in Texas.
After serving 4 years in the USAF I was a State Trooper and progressed from that to owning a Private Investigation Company for 15 years. I do know how to figure out the better from the good or ordinary.
When I sold out and retired the first time we traveled via Motorhome. That was fun but got old after a while.
Then I moved to Denver and did various things (including making a lot of sawdust) until I was led to getting an insurance license.
For a while I sold traditional health insurance but found that not very fulfilling. When I was led to the Senior market it was love at first sight. Now I feel like I can do some good.
Now I have written a book on the subject and it is my hope I will reach a larger audience and therefore help a lot more people. No salesman will call.

The weather here is wonderful and I have gotten involved in camping, hiking, and generally loving the outdoors. In the past I enjoyed dancing but have not found places here to dance that are not honky tonks catering to a crowd far to young for me.
